What we collect

An account needs a name and an email address. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and profile picture, and nothing else. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never readable by us.

Codes and files

The content of your codes and any files you upload are stored so we can serve them when someone scans. Static codes encode their data into the image itself, so for those we hold only what you chose to save in your dashboard.

Scan data

When a dynamic code is scanned we record the time, an irreversible hash of the IP address, the device type, the operating system and, where the network provides it, the country. We do not store raw IP addresses and we do not set advertising cookies.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no third-party tracking cookies on this site.

Your rights

You can export or delete everything from your account settings. Deleting an account removes your codes, uploaded files and scan history within thirty days, including from backups.
